Twitter seems to have been the victim of a Directed Denial of Service attack overnight. It was inaccessible this morning, and is still very slow. I though DDOS defenses were standard equipment on servers these days. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard of a major web presence being shut down this way. Something new?
Iranian government shutting down tweeting protesters, or the White House cutting off “fishy” anti-healthcare plan speech? Or a bored, over-privileged 12-year-old with his own personal computer?
