It must be about time to abandon the Iraqi people to their enemies—-again.
If there are future generations of Americans able to indulge in such open intellectual commerce, their historians will doubtless argue late into the night about whether Barack Hussein Obama doomed the Republic in his first day in office, or whether it took somewhat longer.
Future history aside, failure of his heavily-promoted trillion-dollar “stimulus package” might well make give Mr. Obama the rare distinction of becoming a lame duck earlier in his Presidency than Andrew Johnson. This is a very bad time in contemporary history for a U.S. Administration to come off the rails, as even the Senate majority leader can’t get the Senate to overlook his tax improprieties:
We have the “cult of personality” in place. As these demolitions of doddering democratic regimes have progressed in the past, it won’t be long before we are asked to confer the “emergency powers” due to the unprecedented world crisis. I have trouble remembering how it usually goes after that…private armies? Or maybe the Mexican drug cartels will invade and put us out of our misery….
